Become a Mentor

The benefits of becoming a mentor at SEARCH include:

1. Sharing your knowledge and professionalism with students in an interdisciplinary environment and in non-judgmental atmosphere.

2. Volunteer in the North Central community to provide after hours health care and social programming to an underserved community.

3. Be a part of an energetic and positive student-run initiative in Regina.

4. Support a growing non-profit and charitable organization in Regina.

5. Receive an honorarium as a thank you for your community service for each shift you mentor at SEARCH.

In order to become a mentor with SEARCH, you must complete the following:

1. Provide a resume with 2 references.

2. Provide a criminal record check if not already required by your professional organization.

3. Provide proof of registration with your respective professional organization

4. Provide proof of malpractice insurance if not included with your professional registration or license.

5. Sign our Mentor Contract or the Physician Contract.

6. Attend a SEARCH orientation prior to the first shift at the SEARCH clinic.
